High Definition
Gold Teleproductions has been shooting stunning High Definition projects in a myriad of formats. We've been delivering on HDCam, DVCPRO HD, P-2, XDCAM EX and HDV. Standard Definition
In Standard Definition, our principal in house choice of format is DVCPRO via the Panasonic AJ SDX-900. This versatile camera is capable of 4:3 and 16:9 screen ratios, 24P, 30P, 60i frame rates and DVCPRO 25 or DVCPRO 50 data rates. Canon 15X and 20X Lens with Wide Angle adapters and Rear Zoom control. Matte box and a variety of filters are available. Easily transferred to a different format of choice as needed. We also shoot and/or deliver on Digital Betacam, BetaCam SP, DVCam, and DV.
Camera Support
Sachtler Video 18 and Video 20 Tripod Packages w accessories, Seven Jib Compact XL on wheels.
Lighting and Grip
Gold Teleproductions works with a group of excellent DPs, LDs, gaffers and grips in providing whatever lighting design and implementation is called for on any given project.
We maintain, in house, a sizable selection of Arri and Lowel tungsten lights, C Stands, grip gear, flags, nets, silks, sand bags, dimmers, color correction, neutral density and theatrical colored gels. We also carry Kinoflo Diva 400 and 200 lights, supplied with tungsten and daylight color temperature bulbs with built in dimmers.
Sound
We are well versed in sophisticated synch sound recording, highly demanding "reality" sound, theatrical, and live music recording. As part of Gold Teleproductions' in house sound packages we have an array of gear, including Shure FP-33 and Wendt X5 field mixers, Sennheiser 416 boom microphones, Lectrosonics 411 tunable frequency wireless mic systems w Sanken, Voice Technologies, and Tram heads, Marantz portable Compact Flash recorders (capable of MP3 or Wave quality recordings), and a variety of hard drive multichannel audio recorders.
Engineering and Monitoring
Our experience in single and multicamera shoots has shown how important having the proper monitoring, cabling and support gear is. Whether it is using our Panasonic BT-LH80 8 inch HD Monitor or multiple Sony PVM 8044's, proper cabling and distribution of video, audio and camera control signals for almost any distance is available. Intercoms, waveform monitors, distribution amps, "Video Village" client monitor and headphone systems can all be supplied.
Talent
Years of experience have graced Gold Teleproductions with truly talented professionals in literally every position a production could require. Starting with partner Daniel Epstein, a wonderful DP, accomplished technical engineer, sound mixer, editor, and photographer, a unique skill set in achieving what a director/producer is looking for, we go forth from there. We boast a roster of terrific camera people, all skilled in lighting, most of them experienced at shooting film as well as video. As noted above, fabulous gaffers and grips, talented sound mixers, strong media handlers (for running the workflow from a variety of non tape media formats), makeup, wardrobe, script, coordinators and in expanded production, Producers, Directors and writers.
Editing
At our convenient Hudson Street location we maintain a Final Cut Studio and Adobe After Effects room, very convenient for timely editing projects.
